Popis:	The present paper deals with a new species of the subgenus Lithobius (Monotarsobius) Verhoeff, 1905 (Lithobiomorpha: Lithobiidae), recently discovered in China. Lithobius (Monotarsobius) subspinipes sp. nov. was found in Hebei and Hainan Provinces. The head shield, tergites, coxosternum and some other diagnostic characters of the new species are illustrated.
