Popis: | Patients with a T-ALL and hyperleukocytosis have a bad prognosis, which may be improved by consolidation by high dose chemo/radiotherapy and autologous BMT. To minimize the chance of returning leukemic T cells, the bone-marrow graft can be treated with immuno-toxines such as ricin A coupled monoclonal antibodies. The effect of this procedure on T cell recovery and relapse is not known. In this case report T cell recovery appeared to be normal in such a patient. |
