Popis: The exact relationship between the MCG, as a totally non-invasive, potentially accurate, screening method for the detection of clinically active ischemia, secondary to coronary perfusion problems, and the actual existence of abnormalities in the quantitatively assessed coronary arteriogram was investigated. Eighty eight patients scheduled for a diagnostic coronary angiogram and/or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) had a magnetocardiogram (MCG) just prior to their intervention. All coronary angiograms were forwarded as a DICOM CD to CorTrial, an independent Core Laboratory in Berlin (Germany), for a “blinded” quantitative coronary artery (QCA) analysis. The matching rate between MCG and QCA for location of ischemia is highest for the proximal RCA (78%) and proximal LAD (71%).
