| Popis: | The reliability and performance of fused taper couplers over a variety of environmental changes was investigated. Specifically, the effect of temperature on the state of polarization of light in both a twisted and an untwisted 2x2 single mode coupler operating at 632.8 nm was investigated. Also the effects of temperature and humidity on the coupling ratios of both 2x2 multimode and 2x2 single mode couplers were investigated. |
