Popis: | The kinetics of chemiluminescence accompanying the thermal decomposition of tetramethyl-1,2-dioxetane (TMD) in a polymethyl methacrylate matrix and a polystyrene matrix has been investigated at isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. Induced decomposition of TMD by excited activator—9,10-dibromoanthracene (DBA)—has been observed for a PMMA matrix and the energy transfer radius for this process has been estimated. The different values of activation parameters obtained by both methods are discussed. |
