Popis:	The prostate was examined by sonography to diagnose tumourous changes in the organ. Several visual parameters were found to interpret the pictures. The ultrasonic images can be prepared and improved by means of image-processing algorithm were computed while evolving a method for the automatic evaluation of ultrasonic images. The value of this method and its results are discussed.
