The theme of this final qualification work: âBit error rate performance of multi-frequency signals in the presence of amplitude limitation on the transmitting moduleâ. The object of study is a simulation model for determining the effect of amplitude limitation on multi-frequency signals. The subject of research is the bit error rate performance of multi-frequency signals in the presence of amplitude limitation. The purpose of the study is research of bit error rate performance of multi-frequency signals in the presence of amplitude limitation on the transmitting module. This work is devoted to the study of the effect of amplitude limitation, implemented to reduce peak-to-average power ratio of the signal, on the spectral and energy characteristics of multi-frequency signals. In the course of this work, an algorithm was developed for amplitude limitation of the generated multi-frequency signals with subsequent reception to determine the effect of reducing peak-to-average power ratio on spectral and energy characteristics of the signals and found the effective values for reducing peak-to-average power ratio at fixed values of the signal-to-noise ratio and various compression factors for a rectangular and sinusoidal envelope. The study was implemented in the Matlab simulation environment. The results of the work can be used in digital telecommunications systems to improve the efficiency of using multi-frequency signals and improve the use of power amplifiers. |
