A new approach to controlled thermonuclear fusion is described. This approach is based in part on a statistical affinity of charged bosons in a neutralizing background at given thermodynamic conditions and employs a thin film sample of single-crystal palladium partially saturated with deuterium to effect this configuration. The given configuration is effected by a series of two short-pulsed frequency inputs at temperature T ≈ 9 K . The initial particles so emitted are used in a secondary process in which they are incident on a block of single crystal Li 6 D . It is noted that resulting collisions contribute to a chain reaction. A rough estimate for a 5 cm 3 fuel sample, assuming no chain occurrence, gives the yield 1.25 GJ. |
