Popis: A new networked distributed LED power supply scheme is presented in this paper. It is composed of a high power voltage source and multiple digital galvanostats mounted inside the lamps. They share information by half-duplex communication, and realize the group measure and group control of the multiple PC-based power supplies and lamps. This power supply method can not only solve the technical bottleneck problems in reliability, efficiency, and maintenance of the traditional LED lamps, but also work out the information sharing and network management issues. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for illumination applications of factory workshops, underground parking garages, highway tunnels, subway stations and street lamps.
