Popis: In modern industries condition monitoring is of great importance and researchers have been developing various algorithms for condition monitoring of equipment. Synchronous generators are the central component in any power station. For testing the condition monitoring algorithms for generators fault injection capable test beds are required. In order that the researchers interact with the fault injection capable synchronous generator in an efficient manner, a good user interface is required. In this work, the requirements of such a user interface are listed and implemented on an actual fault injection capable synchronous generator [8]. LabVIEW has been used to implement the user interface. The work also describes the data acquisition system and signal conditioning used. This work will be of great help to future researchers in this research area for developing fault injection capable systems, especially for electrical machines.
