Kinetics of catalytic interaction of m-chlorophenyl isocyanate with hydroxyl end groups of oligobutadienes

Popis: Microcalorimetry was used to study the interaction kinetics of m-chlorophenylisocyanate with OH end groups of oligobutadienes of varying molar mass in the presence of iron triacetyl-acetonate as catalyst in the interval of 313–343°K without solvent. It was shown that in the presence of a catalyst the activity of π-combined and auto-associated OH groups is inverted. In the case of π-combined OH groups the role of the catalyst is to reduce steric hindrances when forming the transient state.
