Popis:	The history ASTM E90 for measurement of sound transmission loss will be traced from the initial release of the first tentative standard in 1950, identifying significant changes that have occurred with each revision. To a lesser degree, the history of ASTM E413 on the sound transmission class, ASTM E1322 on rating outdoor-indoor sound transmission, ASTM E336 for measurement of sound isolation and insulation in the field, and ASTM E966 on outdoor to indoor measurements will be discussed.
