Radioactive colloidal gold suitable to indirect isotope lymphography reduced by glucose was prepared by the authors. PVP and gelatine were used as stabilizer. The particle size distribution was checked by electron microscope and the size distribution of particles was found nearly identical. At the examinations of absorptin from the subcutaneous tissues of hand and foot the gelatine as a protective colloid proved to be better. The latter preparation has been applied so far with 580 patients suffering from tumorous disease and clearly discernible lymphoscintigrams have been obtained from the different regions of the body. |
