Popis: | The half-reactions of photocatalytic reduction and oxidation of water in the presence of exogenous electron donors and acceptors, as well as the reaction of water decomposition into elements on the surface of titanium oxide semiconductor materials with the aim of creating a converter of solar energy into chemical fuel (hydrogen) energy are considered. In photoinduced water splitting, a catalyst for the two-electron reduction of protons of the medium into a hydrogen molecule is used, and the one-electron oxidation of water is carried out on the surface of the semiconductor material. |
