Popis: During the last decade, Salvadoran IEEE membership has growth 367%, from 132 members in December 2008 to 587 members in December 2018. Mainly, this growth had to do with an exponential growing in students membership. In the same period of time, student membership went from 62 to 426. A growth of 525% has its origin through the nurture of existence student branches and the creation of new ones. Three out of seven student branches were created in the last decade. One student branch was reactivated in 2018, after almost two decade being inactive. Since 2010, a memorandum of agreement is signed with local universities that happens to have college of engineering. They received some benefits from IEEE El Salvador Section for their students and for their faculties. MOAs have had a very positive impact and has improved student branches making some of them the biggest and the most dynamics at the Central America and Panama area.
