Popis:	The 1974 TNM classification of the UICC was tested. These data show that the differentiation between non infiltrating tumour and those invading the lamina propria is important to establish adequate treatment. Ta G1 tumours are treated effectively by transurethral resection (TUR) whereas T1 tumours often need more extensive operation if recurrence occurs.
