| Popis: | Prices were obtained for selected pieces of forest management and harvesting equipment for the 1968 to 1978 period.¹ These prices were compared to the inflation rate. Forest management equipment prices increased faster in the 1968-78 period than inflation while the increase for harvesting equipment was not as great as inflation. The effect on the individual user depended on his equipment mix: the greater the proportion of management equipment the faster his purchase costs rose. |
