Effect of Repetition Rate on the Loudness of Triangular Transients

Popis: The loudness of triangular transients with 0.5‐msec rise time and 1‐msec duration is studied as a function of repetition rate in the range of repetition rates from 1 pps (pulse/sec) to 128 pps. It is found that for each doubling of the repetition rate a reduction of 3 dB in peak level of the transients is required to maintain equal loudness.
