The model which we have examined sufficiently fully reflects the problem of the selection of the fundamental parameters in the planning of new facilities, or in the reconstruction of old units, in petroleum refineries. 2. The proposed methods of utilizing the model permit the evaluation of the economic effects of different variants and allow us to predict the results of various fundamental courses of action.
