Absorption strength and pressure-broadened linewidth measurements of the 1.73 μm (2-0) band of HCl at high temperatures

Popis: Line intensities and the pressure- (self-, N 2 -) broadened linewidths in the first overtone of H 35 Cl at 1.73 μm have been measured at several temperatures between 296 and 1300 K using a tunable, narrow-linewidth (0.07 cm −1 ) F + 2 -center laser spectrometer. The spectral intensities at different temperatures, self-broadening coefficients at room temperature, and the rotational-state and the temperature dependence of N 2 -broadening coefficients were measured. Our results are compared with previously published experimental data and theoretical predictions.
