Popis: | The aim of this paper is to combine theory of constraint and six-sigma methodology for evaluation of production system performance. This paper proposes an integrated theory of constraint and six-sigma methodology that increase the product quality of a manufacturing organization. In this work, initially, production constraint is identified, and thereafter, the process capability analysis of production process satisfies the subordination process of an integrated TOC and six-sigma executive philosophy. The re-engineering of the system elevates the constraint of the production unit that enhances the product quality by minimizing the defective production rates. This research is pertinent to any of the production house in which manufactured goods quality diminishes the throughput of the organization. |
