Popis:	Tebipenem pivoxil hydrobromide (TBP-PI-HBr) is an oral (PO) carbapenem pro-drug that is converted to the active moiety tebipenem in the enterocytes. Tebipenem has activity against multidrug-resistant Gram-negative pathogens, including extended-spectrum beta lactamase-producing Enterobacterales, and is being developed for the treatment of patients with complicated urinary tract infections (cUTI) and acute pyelonephritis (AP).
