Popis: | This paper approaches the thermal and demagnetization analysis of an axial-flux permanent magnet synchronous machine designed for propulsion of a railway vehicle. The aim of this analysis is to determine if the permanent magnets glued on the rotor disk are subject of overheating during normal operation of the electric motor, which can cause permanent-partial demagnetization of the magnets. |
