| Popis: | Summary The effect of partial and total vagotomy on gastric secretion in response to insulin-hypoglycemia or histamine was studied in dogs. Dogs in which one of the four vagal branches along the esophagus was left intact secreted acid and pepsin in response to stimulation with insulin. Total vagotomy abolished the response to insulin. |
