Popis: | This paper will focus on two different innovation approaches that multinational companies employ in order to reach global markets and the impact these two distinct strategies have on product localization and terminology management. We will also explore how the work of the technical writers, marketing copy writers, terminology managers, and localization managers requires close collaboration with the core product team – usually comprised of software engineering, design, product management, system engineering, and quality and regulatory – to ensure brand and intellectual property protection, linguistic quality, and terminology consistency in each of the versions of the product. |
