Popis:	The article, based on an analysis of different sources, presented results of the examination of professional competence of students as a result of their military training at the Military Institute. The authors substantiate the relevance of such work, consider each element of professional competence and indicate that they decide in the complex. On the basis of these conclusions are drawn, which can be used in educational practice of military high school.
