Popis:	Large numbers of dockyard workers in Plymouth, intermittently exposed to asbestos, have been found to have pleural abnormalities. The more extensive pleural reactions, often accompanied by effusion, are occurring in younger men after about 15 years’ exposure to asbestos. The significance of these changes in relation to the development of malignant disease is not yet known. A modified radiographic technique and the radiological appearances are described.
