ChemInform Abstract: Preparation and Pharmacological Evaluation of 1-(1,4-Benzoquinon-2-yl)- 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalenes as Potent Cerebral Protective Agents

Popis:	Two new series of 1-(1, 4-benzoquinon-2-yl)-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydronaphthalenes (3, 4) were synthesized for evaluation of their pharmacological activities. These compounds showed significant anti-lipid peroxidation (ALP) activities with rat brain homogenate and some of them possessed a protective effect against hypobaric hypoxia in mice.
