Methods of investigation measurement of concentration of products of decomposition on the surface of polymer films

Popis:	From IR spectra obtained by transmission and by complete irregular internal reflection concentrations were determined of products of decomposition formed polyethylene and polypropylene films during preparation from melt. It was found that the proportion of products of decomposition on the film surface exceeds by at least one order of magnitude that in the internal regions. The thickness of the decomposed layer was determined.
