Popis:	A rapid, automated immunocytochemical staining method for the Instrumentation Laboratory Code-On stainer was developed to detect cellular markers in cell smears and cytospins prepared from fine needle aspirates of solid tumors and from body fluids collected by brushing, scraping, or washing. The acetone fixed cell smears and cytospins were stained with monoclonal and polyclonal commercially available antibodies and the Vectastain Elite Mouse andRabbit kits. This system produced reproducible high quality, specific staining of lymphocyte, macrophage, epithelia, and prostatic markers with substantial time and cost savings over manual processing.
