Popis:	The investigation of eight species from the tribe Arctoteae afforded, in addition to known compounds, 12-oxonerolidol, seven farnesol derivatives, one acid with a eudesmane skeleton and 12 sesquiterpene lactones. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR techniques.
