Compression and Transfer of Images in Wireless Sensor Networks Using the Transformation of Residue Number System

Popis: The paper proposes a new approach to compression and data transmission in Internet of Things environment, based on the transformation of the Residue Number System and the method of arithmetic coding. The transformation of the Residue Number System is used to divide the data into parts. As a result, the received remainders are compressing in parallel used the arithmetic coding. Then they are transmitting through parallel routes, if the last ones are present. The proposed approach improves the processing speed through the parallel work and provides a compression ratio of depending on the type of data.
