Popis: | The paper represents theoretical provisions and practical particulars of the psychotherapeutic confrontational suggestion method. The psychotherapeutic confrontational suggestion is a new original method of psychotherapeutic influence on humans that suffer from different neurotic and behavioural disorders and is an important component of the methodical set of tools in Multimodal Suggestive Psychotherapy. The concept of adaptive suggestive modification of thinking is considered as the theoretical basis of psychotherapeutic confrontational suggestion. The procedure of psychotherapeutic suggestion includes focused monologue suggestive persuasions and specific suggestive dialogues. The method of psychotherapeutic confrontational suggestion allows correction of non-adaptive thinking and beliefs characteristic for humans with mental and behavioural disorders. The proposed method is based on the idea of artificial provocation of an individual’s cognitive dissonance. This state allows a psychotherapist to adjust the main non-adaptive thoughts and beliefs, as well as the overall picture of an individual’s world outlook. The proposed method means heterogeneous suggestion to clients of basic ideological ideas and principles that have a strong sanogenic effect. The ideas-principles are presented as scientifically based objective laws, the universality of which is obvious. Such ideas-principles were determined and tested during individual psychotherapeutic sessions with 392 people. The sampling consisted of clients with neurotic and caused by stress somatoform disorders, non-complicated affective disorders, mature personality disorders and some behavioural syndromes (sex dysfunction; disorders of sleep, disturbed eating behaviour). Based on the research results, we identified the following key ideas and principles: the ideas-principles of continuous changeability, interdependence, relativity, irreversibility, self-organization, dynamic equilibrium, conditionality of frames, continuity, contradiction and uncertainty of sense. These key ideas-principles became the basis for the further development of adaptogenic thinking and reaching by the clients of a sanogenic personally-ideal lifestyle. |
