Popis: | Introduction The influence of exercise intervention for colon cancer remains controversial. We conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the effect of exercise intervention on the quality of life in patients with colon cancer. Methods We have searched PubMed, EMbase, Web of science, EBSCO, and Cochrane library databases through September 2020 for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing the effect of exercise intervention for colon cancer. This meta-analysis is performed using the random-effect model. Results Five RCTs are included in the meta-analysis. In patients with colon cancer, exercise intervention is associated with improved health-related quality of life (SMD=2.79; 95% CI=1.66 to 3.92; P Conclusions Exercise intervention is effective to improve the quality of life in patients with colon cancer. |
