Popis:	The adsorption behaviour of butyltin compounds in aqueous and mixed aqueous/organic solutions has been investigated by electrochemical methods. The strongest surface activity has been found for tributyltin derivatives. With increase of the concentration of organotin compounds as well as of temperature, the organic solvent is displaced from the double layer. For the first and for the second reduction process different interpretations of the influence of solvent are discussed.
