Popis:	The design and construction of an interface to control a peristaltic pump is described. Although a specific, but widely used, laboratory apparatus is treated the general considerations and method are applicable to a large variety of similar instruments. The enterprising experimenter should be able to adapt our design to his particular needs or equipment. The interface provides a linear relationship between the digital (numerical) value furnished by the computer and the pumping rate. This facilitates calibration and change-overs using different tubing sizes.
