Popis: | In this paper, we propose a new design of RFID reader antenna for ultra-high frequency (UHF) near-field radio frequency identification (RFID) applications. The proposed antenna is designed using truncated corner technique and rectangular slot in the patch and it is printed on an FR4 substrate with thickness h=1.5 mm, relative dielectric constant er = 4.3 and loss tangent tan (δ) = 0.025. The proposed antenna exhibits advantages of a compact size, simple structure, good return loss, desired bandwidth and good performance in term of gain and radiation pattern. The simulation results obtained and optimized using the CST Microwave Studio Software, show that the proposed antenna is suitable for ultra-high frequency (UHF) near-field radio frequency identification (RFID) applications. |
