In order to meet the demand of physical properties in complex environment, new tactile sensors are designed, which based on cascaded fiber gratings. In this paper, A New Method for the Analysis of Cascaded Fiber Bragg Gratings Applied to Tactile Sensors is proposed, The calculation results of the numerical simulation demonstrate that the spectrum of the cascade grating groups is basically the superposition of the spectrum of each single grating. The results indicates the adoption of substructure method to carry out the cascade grating groups' numerical simulation can improve the accuracy and efficient, which provides a theories analysis foundation for the engineering, design and application of tactile sensors based on cascaded fiber gratings. |
