Development of Ultra-Low Power Sensor Node Using FRAM and Nano Timer

Popis: In this paper, we present a project of ultra-Iow-power sensor nod for IoT applications with LoRaWaN interface, successfully designed and tested. The main features of this design are the ultra-low power consumption of the sensor node in sleep mode, long-distance communication, and secure data transmission. By using external nano timer TPL5110 and FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory), it is possible to reduce the sensor node sleep mode consumption current Ic to only 45 nA. This increases battery life and sensor node autonomous operation for several years.
