Popis:	A general method for the preparation of 4,5-dihydro-, 1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-, 4,5,6,7-tetrahydro- and 1,2,4,5,6,7-hexahydroazepino[3,2,1-hi]indoles was established by using intramolecular Friedel-Crafts alkylation of chloromethylthioacetamide as a crucial step.
