Kinetics of formation of vanadates MV206 (M=Sr, Mg) (crystallochemical aspect)

Popis: The conditions of Headwall's effect manifestation in case of deformation phase transformations in reaction products have been considered on the basis of studying the reactions of the formation of bivalent metal metavanadates MgV 2 O 6 and SrV 2 O 6 . Interpretation of Headwall's effect has been carried out within the framework of the crystallochemical approach. The determinant role of the `soft' metal oxygen polyhedron in the formation of MV 2 0 6 (M=Ni, Co, Zn, Mg, Mn, Cd, Ca, Sr, Pb) morphotropic series has been revealed. The interconnection of the crystallochemical phenomena: morphotropy and polymorphism has been determined. The interaction acceleration has been shown to occur if a phase transformation cannot be interpreted as a morphotropic transition.
