Popis: Fluorescence imaging is a novel point-of-care technology that allows the visualization of planktonic bacteria in wounds through the visualization of their fluorescent proteins. This technology can be used to monitor wounds, assess response to treatment, and guide debridement and response to treatment. However, to date, no synthesis of the current evidence exists to guide decision-makers on how to use this technology. Therefore, the aim of this study is to conduct a scoping review on the use of point-of-care devices for the detection of bacterial fluorescence in wounds.
