Analisar as percecoes, preocupacoes e satisfacao dos estudantes e docentes da Uni-CV no contexto de uma experiencia de formacao de professor a distância representa o principal proposito deste estudo de investigacao que se fundamenta na analise das opinioes, perspetivas e interpretacoes dos principais sujeitos envolvidos no estudo. Visa contribuir para construcao do conhecimento sobre o ensino on-line na Uni-CV, numa altura em que este modelo de ensino comeca a assumir novos contornos em Cabo Verde. Trata-se de um estudo exploratorio e descritivo, de natureza qualitativa que se assenta em principios de construcao colaborativa de conhecimento. Como instrumento de recolha de dados, aplicou-se um questionario on-line aos docentes e outro aos estudantes, que permitiu compilar dados tanto de ordem qualitativa como quantitativa, no total de dezanove inquiridos, distribuidos pelos concelhos de S. Vicente, da Praia e do Sal. Importa destacar que 75% dos estudantes consideram boa a experiencia de formacao por que passaram, 12,5%, consideram-na mediocre e 12,5% ma. Em contrapartida 33,3% dos docentes sao da opiniao que a experiencia foi muito boa, enquanto que 66,6% ignoraram esta questao. Apontam- se algumas das limitacoes deste estudo e desenham-se perspetivas de investigacao, nomeadamente sobre a avaliacao da qualidade dos cursos oferecidos em regime de Ensino a Distância, de modo a que numa base empirica se possa tomar decisoes que promovam a qualidade do EaD, na Uni-CV e a nivel nacional. Palavras-chave : modelos de formacao de professores, e-learning , plataforma Moodle, experiencia pioneira The main purpose of this study was to analyze the perceptions, concerns and satisfaction of the students and teachers from the University of Cape Verde (UCV), in the context of online teacher training experience. The results and conclusions are based on an analysis of opinions, perspectives and interpretations by the study subjects. The study aims to contribute to the increasing body of knowledge of online education at UCV, at a time when this teaching model begins to take on new dimensions in Cape Verde. The study is exploratory and descriptive and therefore some of the results are qualitative in nature. The data collection instrument was an online questionnaire for teachers and students, which allowed the compilation of both qualitative and quantitative data, totalling 19 respondents, distributed through the municipalities of Sao Vicente, Praia and Sal. It is important to note that 75% of the students considered the training experience good, 12.5% considered it mediocre and 12.5% considered it to be poor. On the other hand, 33.3% of teachers are of the opinion that the experience was very good, while 66.6% ignored this question. There are some limitations in studies of this nature in that the results and perspectives drawn do not evaluate or compare the quality of the courses offered in this distance education system. Thus empirical conclusions that would form the basis for making decisions that promote the quality of distance education – at UCV and at national level – cannot be drawn from this study. Key words : teacher training models, e-learning, Moodle platform, pioneering experience Le but principal de cette etude est d’analyser les perceptions, les preoccupations et la satisfaction des etudiants et des enseignants de l’Universite du Cap-Vert (Uni-CV) dans le cadre d’une experience de formation en ligne adressee aux enseignants. Les resultats et les conclusions reposent sur l’analyse des opinions, perspectives et interpretations des personnes impliquees dans l’etude. Cette etude vise a contribuer a la construction de connaissances sur l’enseignement en ligne a l’Uni-CV, a un moment ou ce modele d’enseignement commence a prendre de nouvelles dimensions. Il s’agit d’une etude exploratoire et descriptive, et par consequent, certains des resultats obtenus sont de nature qualitative. Pour la collecte des donnees, un questionnaire en ligne a ete applique aux enseignants et un autre aux etudiants permettant de compiler des donnees aussi bien qualitatives que quantitatives, totalisant dix- neuf repondants, dans les municipalites de Sao Vicente , Praia et Sal. A cet egard, il importe de rappeler que 75 % des etudiants estiment que leur experience de formation etait bonne, 12,5 % la considerent tres insuffisante et 12,5 % la croient mauvaise. Un tiers des professeurs (soit 33,3 %) est plutot d’avis que l’experience a ete tres bonne, alors que 66,6 % n’ont pas repondu a cette question. Les etudes de cette nature connaissent des limites, du fait que les resultats et les perspectives qui en decoulent, n’evaluent ou ne comparent aucunement la qualite des cours offerts par cet enseignement a distance. Par consequent, il s’avere impossible de tirer des conclusions empiriques qui pourraient servir de base a la prise de decisions favorisant la qualite de l’enseignement a distance a l’Uni-CV ainsi qu’au niveau national.
