Popis: | Macroscopic functional networks in the human cerebral cortex were identified by independent components analysis of fMRI data obtained during viewing, imagination, and recall of video clips. Networks were relatively stable in structure, but had specific dynamics in different experimental conditions. Comparison of the networks identified with previously detected resting state networks, showed that these were in the same location. The characteristics of the activation of the peripheral and central parts of the retinotopic projection of the visual cortex were identified. The peripheral areas were activated on viewing, on imagination, and on recall. Conversely, the central sectors showed increased activation on viewing and decreases in their activity on imagination and recall. |
