Popis:	Lithium chloride can be extracted from brines which accompany natural gas. The extracts contain residual concentrations of calcium chloride and magnesium chloride. The separation of these associated components is performed using differences in the solubilities of the carbonates and hydrogen carbonates, followed by binding the remaining alkaline earth ions to a chelating resin.
