Resilience in students of the allied health professions: A systematic mixed-studies review

Popis: This will be a systematic mixed studies review in which the following research question is answered: "What is known about resilience in the specific population of students of the allied health professions in the tertiary education setting?" Inclusion and exclusion criteria Articles will be included if they meet the following criteria: • empirical studies (quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods). Simpson.Desley.Nov.2021 3 • peer-reviewed journal articles published in English from January 2000 to time of June 2022. • contain each of the search terms within the title, abstract and/or keywords. • The abstract reveals that the population group under study includes allied health professions students that are not part of the medical, dental, nursing or midwifery professions (i.e. those defined according to Allied Health Professions Australia). • Studies will be included if medicine and/or nursing and/or dentistry students are included in the study population, provided that one or more of the allied health disciplines are also in the sample and the data analysis separates the disciplines. • Studies will be included if the population includes allied health professions following graduation, provided that the study sample also included students of the allied health professions e.g. intervention studies. • Populations where the students are identified to be either undergraduate or postgraduate provided that undergraduates are included in the sample.
