Popis: | Infrared and visible analysis of the emission produced by 4:1 He-CO mixtures with the addition of variable amounts of O2 has been used for a more comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in He-CO-O2 radiofrequency discharges. The effect of O2 addition on the CO vibrational population distribution, on the electron energy distribution function and on the CO2 formation, is examined also with the aid of the emission actinometric technique. The analysis has been carried out at P=1.8 Torr, for two residence times within the discharge (10 and 100 ms) with a liquid nitrogen cooled wall reactor. |
