The paper considers the validity of the use of modern Internet resources and technologies in the organization of the English language training in higher education. Internet technologies provide students and teachers with access to authentic educational materials and resources: audio texts and videos, platform courses, lectures from the TED talks and TED Ed, additional materials on the topics studied. The article describes the methods of work and the possibility of using these materials, the factors that teachers should consider in their application. It is concluded that the relevance, novelty, a wide range of topics contribute to increasing the motivation of students and make learning attractive, more interesting and effective. |
