Popis: This paper presents the proposal of a coating for the antennas that are used in the treatment of microwave ablation (MWA), to protect them from possible oxidation and that the burned tissue does not adhere to the antenna. The corresponding tests of the coupling are carried out to observe if the material that cover the antenna produce loss of power at the time of the therapy or if the coupling is better with the coating. In the Table IV we obtained a better result in the coupling of the antenna with the medium, the result of the SWR was of 1.87, this means that there is less power loss at the time of application of ablation therapy on the contrary in the Tables III and VI the value of SWR increased causing loss of potential during the treatment. In the Table III the SWR was of 4.9 and in the Table VI the SWR was 4.3. It is very probable that due to the heat produced, the antenna has been disbanded or that the internal teflon has expanded.
