Popis: | The chaotic pulse width modulation (CPWM) is a spread spectrum technique that plays an increasingly important role when tackling the electromagnetic interference (EMI) problem. It has proven to give interesting results in terms of EMI levels reduction. The EMI noise reduction in the chaotic modulation is a function, among others, of the initial value. In fact, each chaotic map can exhibit different modulation effects with different initial values. This paper is an attempt to harness the benefits of the chaotic digital control when tackling the EMI problem in a boost converter. Different chaotic maps were analyzed and the effect of the chaotic map on the EMI reduction level was highlighted. |
